Successful Graduate – Christie Butson

I trained with Essential Nails and qualified on 7th October 2005. My business started small and has built up over the years, luckily I have never had to advertise, all of my work comes from word of mouth. I tried working in a salon but that wasn’t for me, so I continue to work self employed from home turning my spare room into my salon. I have ladies who still come to me that have beenloyal clients since the day I started. I have been able to work around having children and school holidays etc and still have a thriving business. My daughter is now 15 and looking to follow in my footsteps, as she now wants to start doing nails also, which is great. Next step for her is to start the course and qualify. Who knows there might be two people working in my spare room in a few years time.

Training with Essential was really the best thing I have done, learning at my own pace and time and 12 years later I still love my job and the thought of my daughter following in my footsteps is great.
