In 2010 I found Essential Nails when I was caring for my Dad who had cancer.

I had completed over 40 training courses run by my local council, however because of my Dad’s illness I had to be at home most of the time to care for him.

Despite years of still wanting to learn nails, I couldn’t see how being at home I could achieve this, however this changed when I found Essential Nails through an online search.

Within a week I ordered a brochure and my first course – Acrylic Tip and Overlay.

I cared for my Dad during the day, and did my courses at night.

In December 2010 I passed Nail Art, then in 2011 Acrylic Tip and Overlay, Maintaining Nails, Gel Nails, and then Fibreglass.

Sadly, in April my Dad lost his battle with cancer, though despite my devastation, I became more determined to finish my courses as he was the one person who encouraged me.

This led me to passing the Acrylic Art Master course and Pedicure course. By the end of 2011 I had passed 7 courses, and thinking about doing nails as a job!

I couldn’t thank the staff at Essential Nails enough, Sarah the student support was always available to speak if I had a problem, and the other ladies from Essential Nails are always more than willing to help.
I’m so glad I searched home learn courses when I did, I can’t thank Essential Nails enough.
