Successful Graduate Kelly MacGregor
Hi my name is Kelly MacGregor, I am 38 and live in Colchester, Essex.
Five years ago I was an outgoing, bubbly person, but due to personal circumstances my life changed overnight. I had to give up work due to health issues, all I would do was lay on the sofa every day sleeping and not doing anything with my life, I had depression, panic attacks, and lots more…
A very good friend who told me about Essential Nails, I didn’t quite believe her until I looked them up online and thought to myself, I could give this a go. I phoned Essential Nails and spoke to a lady called Sarah Gooderham, who advised me on what sort of courses I could enrol on and that I could do them all from the comfort of my own home.
I started with the Acrylic Course, which I thoroughly enjoyed apart from nearly throwing it out the window when something went wrong… lol.
Once I completed that one I had the urge to do another course, so I enroled on the Maintenance Course and completed that as well.
I was so chuffed with myself for completing both the courses, I went ahead and bought another two courses which were Nail Art and Gel Polish. I’ve recently passed them too, so I’ve now got the Airbrush to complete which I’m currently waiting on to come through the post.
In total I have got one pass and three distinctions, but I am heading for more distinctions with my up and coming courses.
If it wasn’t for my friend who came round that day who knows where I would be today. My wish is to open my own salon one day in the near future, as I am now a qualified nail technician. I never ever thought this day would come.
