Successful Graduate Kerry Broadhurst
For the last 2 and a half years I have been learning to cope with the behavioural problems presented to me by my autistic daughter which left little time to do much else but now she is at school and I have a little bit of spare time I decided i needed to do something for myself.
I have always enjoyed my little pamper sessions at my local nail bar but when we moved away I couldn’t indulge in that little bit of luxury anymore and decided to at least learn how to apply Acrylic nails myself. I did a little searching on the internet for a home learning course and came across Essential Nails.
The website was very user friendly and helpful so I requested a brochure. When the brochure arrived I was very excited by all the amazing courses I could choose from and the information was clear and concise.
I ordered the acrylic & maintenance courses almost straight away in March 2012 and waited patiently for them to arrive.
When my courses arrived I couldn’t wait to get started but I took the advice of EN’s brilliant sales adviser and watched the DVD all the way through first before I even picked up a file. The DVD was full of useful tips and advice and I got going very quickly.
All stages are set out clearly and easy to follow. I really enjoyed every part of the course and if I had any problems I knew EN were only a phone call or email away and that I could talk to other EN students on EN’s facebook page. I never really had any problems however and sailed through both the acrylic & maintenance courses and decided to order the nail art course which I found incredibly easy and finished within a couple of weeks.
When I sent off all three completed courses to be marked at the beginning of May 2012 I was incredibly nervous and didn’t dare think that I would pass but when that amazing phone call came and I was told I had got two credits and a distinction I was overwhelmed with joy, I couldn’t believe that I had done it.
So I am now in the middle of doing the Spa manicure & pedicure courses and yet again loving it! I am hoping to slowly set up a home based nail salon to fit around my family and build up clientele who will want to come back time after time.
I thoroughly recommend Essential Nails, they are the best at what they do!
