Successful Graduate Leanne Sharratt

I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have 4 years experience in my current profession.

I wanted to study a nail course because I’ve worn acrylic nails myself since being at high school. A friend of mine had always done them, I was always interested in watching her and asking questions.

I was spending about £35 every 2-3 weeks on my own nails, so I thought I would shop around to see if it would be better to learn myself and to see which would be the best way to learn while having a full time job…. Essential Nails was perfect!

I could learn at home in my own time and there was no rush to complete it, the more I practiced the more I wanted to push myself to finish it. I was hooked!

There was lots of help from Sarah the Tutor at Essential Nails and if I had any problems I would contact the Office and was given lots of advice to help me complete my course.

I now have returning Clients and I’m getting more and more confident each set of a nails I complete. I am still learning new things, but that is the best part of the job. I just love being a Nail Tech as I love to see the end results on my Clients nails, and knowing that my Customers are happy is fantastic.

I find being a Nail Tech is also relaxing as being a Nursery Nurse is quite demanding. I’m hoping to either work in a shop a couple of days a week or even open up my own shop in a few years time… I see it as my hobby as well as my job.
