Successful Graduate – Michelle Hillier (CM)

I began my nail journey back in 2007, I was off work on maternity leave and the thought of going back to my retail job scared me, as I wanted to spend every moment with my son. So my husband asked me the question “What do you want to do then?” I always did my own nails and enjoyed it, so after a quick search on Google, Essential Nails came up and well, the rest is history.

To date I have completed the Gel Tip and Overlay, Maintenance, Acrylic Tip and Overlay, Manicure and Pedicure, UV Gel Polish, Acrylic Art Master and Gelaze Pro Expert Course.

I have struggled for years thinking I wasn’t good enough especially when it comes to nail art!!

So when I got the call to say I had been chosen for Mays Gelaze Pro Art winner I cried, at last I had some self belief. Then in June my Gel nails came runner up in the Wedding Nail Art Competition.

Essential Nails has been amazing, don’t get me wrong home learn is hard work, but I was determined to succeed.

I’ve now been self employed since 2008 and run a successful nail business at home. I’ve even introduced my sister in law to Essential Nails, she is working on her success story too!!
