Maintaining Nails Course

Following your first or second course, the Maintenance course is the one you should really consider.

After 2 weeks, your clients nails will have grown, leaving a ridge at the cuticle and pushing the smile past the finger tip. She may have a lifting overlay, a chip or crack.

Maintaining your clients nail extensions so they look good all the time is the best way to keep your clients loyal, and earn more money.
This course contains everything you need to maintain professional nail enhancements: Products, tools, practice, tuition, assessment and certification.

Maintaining Nail Extensions: what you’ll learn.

We cover all the main nail systems: Gels, Acrylics and Fibreglass. Even if you are a graduate in only a single system you may have to perform maintenance tasks on nails applied by other technicians. You never know who will walk into your salon!

We will show you how to:
Rebalance nails.
Repair and preventing lifting.
Repair chipped and cracked nails.
Soak off old extensions.

The lessons Gina shows you the techniques on the Nail Trainer and on live models wearing three week old extensions. You repeat the techniques on the Nail Trainer’s maintenance nails, which are returned for assessment and certification at the end of the course.

Assessment and Certification You complete the tasks in the lessons on the Nail Trainer, saving your completed nails on the progress cards.

You send your completed progress cards to us for our assessment along with your completed question papers. If your work is up to our pass criteria we will issue you a Essential Nails Institute Certificate at a pass, credit or distinction level.
